Eyewitness Adeniyi Orojo, who participated in the rescue operation, provided details about the incident. He stated that Joshua was part of a two-vehicle convoy consisting of a Lexus SUV and a Pajero SUV.

"Joshua was seated behind the driver, with another person beside him," Orojo told The Punch newspaper. "There was also a passenger sitting beside the driver, making four occupants in the Lexus that crashed."

The accident happened near the Danco Filling Station in Makun, before the Sagamu Interchange heading toward Ibadan. Officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps arrived at the scene shortly after the collision.
